NORTH STEYNE LIFE SAVING CLUB
The club, one of the first in Australia, was born out of necessity when three people drowned in the surf in 1907. Locals formed North Steyne SLSC, and no lives have been lost during patrol hours in over 100 years since. Given the number of people who unfortunately drown on Australian beaches each year this is a statistic that North Steyne SLSC members are justifiably proud of. It also emphasises the commitment and service that North Steyne SLSC members have given to visitors and members of the public to our beach over that time – arguably one of the most famous and visited beaches in Australia.
Over that time North Steyne SLSC has seen acts of incredible heroism, innovation, and camaraderie.

We work across Australia, nationally through virtual service delivery and in person in NSW, VIC, ACT, SA and QLD and we work with thousands of people every day, to help them feel valued, cared for and understood.
HEART RESEARCH AUSTRALIA
Heart Research Australia supports world-class and emerging researchers to conduct ground-breaking research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
We support ‘seed’ funding, allowing researchers to turn their innovative, ‘out of the notebook’ ideas into reality. As this type of first-stage research does not qualify for government funding, we are solely reliant on the generosity of our wonderful supporters to help make the investigation of such ideas possible.
Our goal is to reduce the devastating impact heart disease has on families and the community.
